If you want to learn the basics of blockchain & cryptocurrency in less than a few hours (and maybe in a matter of minutes), then here are a few resources that I’ve found helpful:
Blockchain 101 blog post by Angie Jones
This is a quick read (about 10 min) introducing blockchain, Bitcoin & Ethereum/Ether (two of the most popular cryptocurrencies), and smart contracts. Angie Jones is a Master Inventor and currently works as the VP of Developer Relations at Block (Square).
Hearing a lot about #crypto technologies lately. Starting digging into it. Here’s what I learned about blockchain, bitcoin, Ethereum, and smart contractshttps://t.co/PMYQAv4CC7

Whiteboard Crypto YouTube channel
Whiteboard Crypto started in 2021 and explains blockchain, cryptocurrency, and NFT concepts using diagrams and drawings. They also have videos on avoiding crypto scams, purchasing ENS domains, and how to make money staking crypto.
Investing with Rose YouTube channel
Although this channel discusses different asset classes (stocks, index funds, real estate, etc), there are a few videos discussing whether or not crypto is a ‘good investment’, how to buy & store crypto, and crypto taxes.
Blockchain for Everyone book by John Hargrave
One of the best books I’ve read that breaks down blockchain, crypto, smart contracts, smart stocks, and more into easy to understand concepts. This book walks us through the author’s experience trying to build their business in this ever-growing space. The book also includes the Blockchain Investor Scorecard, a model to help you determine the value of a blockchain investment and whether or not you should invest. You can buy it at Barnes & Noble and Amazon.
Over time, I’ll continue building out this list of resources. In the meantime, what’s missing?
